Services
Websites, software and business systems built around real work. We help established organisations across Newcastle upon Tyne, the North East and the wider UK remove friction for customers and teams.
Our services
Improve the digital parts of your business that customers and teams rely on
A website, booking flow or internal system should make the next step easier. It should help a customer understand what you offer, help your team collect the right information and keep work moving without unnecessary chasing, copying or rekeying.
We help when an existing website is holding back trust, when an off-the-shelf platform no longer fits, or when an important process still depends on spreadsheets, inboxes and manual workarounds.
You can see how these services work together across our selected website and software projects. If meeting locally matters, our North East service-area pages explain where we work and the relevant experience nearby.
- Make it easier for customers to buy, book or enquire.
- Replace repetitive admin with a clearer workflow.
- Connect systems that currently rely on manual copying.
Founder & Lead Developer
Hi, I'm Dan.

I'm Dan Bell. I started freelancing in 2016 and have spent the last ten years building websites and software. Here at LineUp Digital, we work directly with businesses around the North East to turn unclear websites, awkward software workarounds and disconnected tools into digital foundations that are simpler to use and easier to grow with.
Not sure which service your project fits into?
You do not need a technical specification before getting in touch. Bring the current problem, the people it affects and the outcome you need; we can help define the most sensible next step.
Our Discovery Process
Most projects do not begin with a finished specification. They begin with a website that is no longer helping, a slow process, a missed opportunity or an idea that needs to be turned into something workable.
- 01
Find the friction
We look at the current customer journey and the way work moves behind the scenes. The aim is to identify the real constraint rather than jump straight to a preferred technology.
- 02
Choose the right shape
We decide whether the best next step is a website redesign, an improved journey, an integration, a portal, an automation, a focused internal tool or a larger software product. Not every problem needs a full custom build.
- 03
Design and build in clear stages
We turn the agreed route into working screens and functionality in visible stages. This makes it easier to test assumptions, make informed decisions and keep the project connected to its original purpose.
- 04
Launch, learn and improve
We prepare the content, redirects, analytics and operational handover needed for launch. Once the website or system is in use, real behaviour and feedback can guide the next improvements.
Common problems
Does this sound familiar?
These are common starting points, not testimonials. The useful next step is working out where the friction really sits and what would make it easier.
Friction 01
This could be so much easier.
Friction 02
I do the same thing over and over again.
Friction 03
Customers keep asking for a clearer way to do this.
Friction 04
We have too many systems that do not talk to each other.
Friction 05
Our website no longer reflects the business.
Friction 06
Why do we need to copy this information again?
